Large Spike Hoops with Topaz

Earrings made in sterling silver or gold-plated brass with a silver post/pin and 20 white topaz set around the earrings. Made with wax sculpting and casting.

The design of these earrings was inspired by protozoa found in the ocean called radiolaria. Their shapes are unusual, but familiar, we don't even realize how connected we are with the ecosystem. Many shapes and patterns that we create come from nature, and in the end, everything comes from the same place.

These spike hoops are strong jewelry, and they started a conversation. Their powerful spike design, combined with the delicate spark of the gemstones, fits perfectly in a party outfit or whenever you want to dress to impress.

Care Instructions: Always keep jewelry dry. Do not shower or enter the pool. Do not go to the beach, and keep it away from humidity. Do not bend pieces. Clean plated jewelry with a cotton cloth or mild soap. For sterling silver pieces, clean gently with mild soap and, in some cases, toothpaste.
