JIMI
JIMI is a Seoul-based design brand founded in 2022 by designer Jiwoong Byun. The brand name comes from the designer’s nickname, while jimimicry—the brand’s Instagram ID—is derived from “mimicry,” meaning to imitate the designer himself: his tastes, daily habits, and values.
JIMI creates sculptural yet functional objects that evolve into wearable accessories. After beginning with padded wearable pieces and soft forms, the brand expanded into bags and objects, and now focuses on small-scale accessories produced through 3D printing.
Each product is developed through testing of scale, balance, and tactile experience, considering how it feels in everyday use. Today, JIMI offers playful yet practical accessories such as necklaces, keychains, mirrors, and lip balm holders.
