Care Instructions: CARE: The steel used is either hot rolled steel or cold rolled steel, depending on the patina. A wax top coat is utilized and acts as a living finish, enabling the metal to darken and age underneath through the wax. The finish needs to be maintained by reapplying additional wax from time to time, and regular dusting may be performed with a non-abrasive cloth. The application of wax is recommended at least twice annually. More frequent applications may be desired in humid environments. STORAGE: When not in use, store the accessories in the HESO dust bag which it was received in. This will seal out moisture and keep the steel dry to prevent tarnishing. Avoid any exposure to water or harsh chemicals, as this can cause damage and accelerate tarnishing. If tarnishing is extreme, please contact info@heso.us to schedule a care consultation.
