Taylor Maki is a textile artist based in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Working primarily with hand-tufted wool rugs, her practice blends graphic structure with organic imperfection. Drawing inspiration from early digital interfaces, utilitarian design, and abstract systems, her compositions often feature circuit-like lines, symbolic shapes, and unexpected colour combinations. Since beginning her rug practice in 2021, Maki’s work has been featured in exhibitions, commission work, and collaborations with interior designers and independent retailers.
