KOKE

Born in China and raised in Hong Kong, Ka Ho Kam is the designer behind the New York Ready-to-wear label KOKE. From his experiences in the studios of Marc Jacobs and Sies Marjan, Kam infuses a thorough love of color through his work. Ka Ho navigates notions of herding, nature, and futurism through clothing, merging disparate elements of kekexili heritage and modern explorers bringing compellingly simple and intensely personal designs.

Unconventional women’s staples embody a series of juxtapositions—between simplicity and complexity, smoothness and fluffiness, convention and experimentation, and Eastern and Western cultures. Simple blousing, fluffy dresses, minimalist jackets, and well-cut outdoor trousers are elevated with subtle details including crochet, geometric cutting, and unexpected reflective effects.
