Founded in 2022 in New York on the principles of celebrating individuality and going against the grain, Taottao is a brand that fuses playfulness, sensuality, and subtle loudness. The brand is now developing in Jersey City and Shenzhen. It was created for individuals who boldly embrace their true selves and seek garments that make a statement without uttering a word. 

Relocating to the United States at 14, Yitao's academic endeavors encompassed a BFA from FIT, a transformative semester at Polimoda, Italy, and a study abroad program with a BA in womenswear at Central Saint Martins. Training with designers such as MONSE, Thom Browne, Tibi, and Kim Shui underscored Yitao's expertise in design, textile development, and the creation of innovative tools.
