Water always remembers what passes through it. Rain and Rivers is an ethereal collection of wearable sculptures forged using glass. Each piece has been made by hand and is one of a kind. 

Rain and Rivers emerged in 2023 by Magdalena Hart, a critical artist and interactive installation designer from the UK / Uruguay. In her practice, she uses technology to challenge the way we experience the living ecosystems we belong to, expanding environmental awareness through art, technology, and speculative imagination.

In 2018, she cofounded the artistic duo Akyute, integrating “nature” into the “digital age”. This gave way to her exploration of glass, which appears like water yet emerges from fire.
