Guided by a fusion of 2D and 3D landscapes, Otherthings.jpg weaves the virtual into the physical. The process of Sako's creative work comes from the desire for an outlet from her professional and client work. She usually starts designs as a sketch in procreate or jumps straight to photoshop or illustrator. Then she will bring her ideas into blender and creates 3D models to experiment with other potential forms of media. Used for promo or just for fun. Then production begins with samples, product quality checks and fittings. If successful it goes into full production and comes to life! In her work she continues to explore methods of re-imagining designs in different digital contexts.
