Hand-poured from Shers Studios’ custom latex-bead textile, the buried skin gloves blur the line between skin and artefact. Liquid natural latex is carefully layered over bead structures, creating a semi-sheer surface where texture appears suspended beneath the skin. The fingerless, loose cut allows ease of movement while revealing the body underneath, making each pair feel more like a second skin than an accessory.

Every glove is individually hand-poured, cut, and finished in the UK, meaning no two pairs are ever the same. This slow, small-batch process reduces waste and celebrates material irregularity rather than hiding it.

Style them as the final layer of armour: over bare arms, with a long sleeve dress, or stacked with jewellery for contrast. Best worn when you want to get hands-on — literally. Consider them gloves off, concept on.

    Features a loose cut. Fingerless.

Care Instructions: Latex arrives covered in talcum powder to prevent sticking and creasing. Creases will disappear within 1 day once hung. To remove powder, wipe with a damp cloth after wearing. Wash after every wear to prevent damage from dirt, sweat, and oils. Fill a plastic container, sink, or tub with lukewarm water and a few drops of neutral dish soap. Soak for 5 minutes, gently swishing, then rinse with clean lukewarm water. Hang to dry on a plastic or wooden hanger (avoid metal). Once dry, turn it inside out to dry the other side. Note sheer latex may look milky if soaked too long — this will disappear when fully dry. After cleaning and drying, latex may stick to itself — this is normal. If wearing soon, apply a small amount of latex polish for shine. For longer storage, dust with talcum powder. Hang on a plastic or wooden hanger under a garment bag, or store in a ziplock bag in a drawer. Keep in a cool, dark place away from sunlight. Lighter colours are more prone to staining, so consider starting with black or dark shades if new to latex. Keep latex away from oils, cleaning products, solvents, and copper or nickel-based metals. Avoid nicotine. Apply perfume, deodorant, body oils, and lotions well before wearing, but never directly on latex. Treat with care.
