Thao Uyen

Thao Uyen is a Brooklyn-based accessory designer. With her stuffed sculptures, she explores the theme of home, a space of connection and isolation, pride and sacrifice, love and affliction, at odds with each other. Each piece is carefully crafted with high-quality dead stock fabrics to reduce waste and withstand the test of time. Coming from a lineage of garment workers, she honors their trade while resisting the culture of rapid production.
