100.element is a project by Chicago-based artist Abby Giurfa that brings to life objects from liminal realities. Their work explores the intersection between ancient artifacts and futuristic creations, achieved through the craft of sculpting and the creation of personal ceremonial objects. Each object crafted is imbued with purpose, at times enigmatic, while at other times, familiar to our contemporary world. The overarching goal of 100.element is to disrupt the mundane in life with objects that alter our perception of reality, thereby giving birth to a new one.
