Aviya and Elad met in New York during their first year at Parsons School of Design, where Elad majored in fashion design — focusing on tailoring and construction — and Aviya attended the multidisciplinary program of integrated design, concentrating on fashion knitwear. Aviya and Elad at once developed a deep bond and a creative partnership soon began, born of the common desire to trouble conventional fashion through a transformable design method.
