Anna Rusínová

Anna Rusínová is a graduate of the K.O.V. studio at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. In her work, which straddles the line between contemporary jewelry and wearable objects bordering on small-scale sculpture, she often works with past or historical references, which, through the optics of speculation, nostalgia, or personal experience, she then transforms into new possible forms deviating from their normative appearance and meaning. One of the recurring themes is also the connection between the created structure and the body of a possible wearer, be it in jewelry or non-wearables.
