Purgatori

In PURGATORI I have turned the war inside my head into thoughts that can exist outside of me! Something tangible that another soul can hold, connect with, and maybe even find solace in.

My more militant emotions have become my playground. A lot of my work explores imagery surrounding ammunition and firearms, but I pair those harsher themes with soft shapes and natural elements like freshwater pearls. I love the tension between the two!! The feeling of something dangerous and something delicate existing together, creating a balance that oddly compliments. I’m endlessly grateful to those who find meaning in these creations and choose to give them a place in their own world. A little piece of me will always have a part in every creation that was born between my fingers.
