Death Desire Fibers
Originally from Texas, @deathdesire.fibers designer Jael took up felting in 2020 after a lifelong interest in other textile techniques. She has been pursuing her interest in fiber art full-time since early 2021.
For Jael, creating wet felting is an intimate sustainable process. Before creating a design, she thinks about how her designs can be functional yet sustainable. All of Jael’s designs are handmade and one-of-a-kind using ethical wool roving that is sourced from small farms all over the US. This soft, tactile, and renewable material is a great alternative to less synthetic textiles and plastics.
