ANTISPACETRAVEL is a project by Bridget Hamel that materializes artifacts from a post-digital world.
Each imagined Future-Fossil is calcified with the imprints of various discarded technological interfaces which have been rendered obsolete by the perpetual advancement of trans-humanist agenda, a near past cast aside and disconnected from the present.
Anti-precious stones collected by the artist are set into the pieces to honor the Divine Tactile that our digital reality is continuously working to obliterate.
